The Future of Us is an impressive and inspiring exhibition. I had the privilege to join the exhibition tour by the Creative Direction himself as part of the guide briefing. Mr Tan is very charismatic and can hold the whole audience’s attention. I am truly impressed. 

The people at the top still cares to dream, dares to dream, and have the heart to encourage the rest to dream. The future is yet to set. The future of us is defined by us. 

寐语者确实有才。在图书馆里翻出好多近期出的小说，却被《帝王业》深深吸引。接着又去翻她写的衣香鬓影三部曲，一个假期看下来，欲罢不能。霍沈念卿。最深情的承诺，就是以他之姓，冠她之名。风花雪月，抵不过一世相守。

命运多舛，何处而归。只愿一心人，白首不相离。

• Congruency - what you think, what you say and what you feel must be the same
• Life doesn’t need to be so complicated. Be true to yourself.
• You can say whatever reasons you want. Ultimately it’s your motive that matters.

Simplicity. Solitude. Intermittency. Each cycle of the tide is valid; each cycle of the wave is valid; each cycle of the relationship is valid. 

Dance in the beat of the music and create many one and only moments.

I passed by the Central Library while on the way to repair my luggage. As I needed to wait for an hour in the area before my item is ready for collection, I decided to pop by the library to search for a piece of writing by me published earlier this year. I was in London when it got on the paper so I did not manage to see it. I was told that the Central Library keeps microfilms of the local newspapers so I decided to give it a try. 

And I managed to get it! I sent in my piece on 19 Mar 2015 and got a note on 9 May 2015 that it had been published. So the piece must be on paper between these two dates. I retrieved the tapes for those weeks and learnt how to mount the microfilms for reading from the librarian. As I pressed the forward button and watched the past newspaper pages flipped in front of you, it felt like going back in time. And here it is, my first piece published in Singaporean newspaper.
